The Stone Cow walked through the valley, and the ordinary Stone Cows avoided it. They seemed to be afraid of it.
This fellow was arrogant and domineering, rampaging through the valley. A Crouching Stone Cow's reaction was a little slow, and it was unable to dodge in time. It was knocked to the ground by the Crouching Stone Cow's horn, and a long gash appeared on its body.
The Stone Cow didn't fight back, though. It cried out in pain and fell back.
The Stone Cow walked around the valley, looking very cocky. Then, it returned to the depths of the valley.
The mountain wall blocked Han Sen's view. Han Sen hesitated for a moment, and then he changed his position. He carefully climbed up the side of the valley and used the vines as cover to observe the Stone Cow.
The valley was shaped like a gourd. There was a big valley on the outside, and there was a crack in the middle. After going through the crack, there was a smaller valley.
There was no sign of the Stone Cow in the valley. After the Stone Cow entered the valley, it lay down under a tree. It didn't look like it was resting, though.
The Stone Cow lay there, and it kept looking up at the tree as if there was something up there.
Han Sen looked at the tree, but he couldn't see anything special about it.
The tree was so thick that it would take a few people to wrap their arms around it. It was twenty or thirty meters tall, and its canopy was like an umbrella.
Because it was too far away, Han Sen couldn't feel the presence of the tree. There was nothing special about it, though. It didn't even have any fruit. It was just a tree with green leaves.
"Weird. There isn't anything special in the valley. How did the Stone Cow remove the Teeth power from its wounds?
It doesn't have that power. If it did, it wouldn't have let the Teeth power tear its wounds open. "Han Sen kept watching, hoping to find an answer.
The Stone Cow lay there for a while, and then it couldn't wait any longer. It walked around the tree a few times, looking up at the canopy.
"It looks like there is something wrong with the tree, but what is it?" Han Sen looked at it a few more times, but he couldn't figure out what the problem was.
After waiting for a while, the Stone Cow suddenly looked happy. It raised its head and looked at the tree without blinking.
Han Sen quickly followed the Stone Cow's eyes and saw a hole the size of a basketball in the middle of the leaves. A small thing walked out of the hole.
Han Sen couldn't tell what it was. Its head and face looked like a mouse, but it walked upright like a human. It wore clothes made of leaves and held a small wooden stick in its hand. It looked very strange, and it made people feel uncomfortable.
That thing had shifty eyebrows and a pair of small triangular eyes that were strangely blood-red in color. After walking out of the tree hole, it used the wooden stick in its hand to knock down a green leaf, then jumped onto the leaf and slowly landed on the ground along with the leaf.
The Stone Cow immediately walked over and lowered its head to look at something that looked like a rat spirit. It roared at it a few times.
The thing roared back at the Stone Cow. It seemed to be arguing with the Stone Cow. After a while, the thing reached out its claws and pulled out something that looked like a stone. It threw it at the Stone Cow.
The Stone Cow opened its mouth wide and stuck out its tongue. Suddenly, the little rock was sucked into its mouth. It didn't even chew it before swallowing it.
After swallowing the stone, the Stone Cow's body glowed. The Stone Cow looked very sleepy, and it fell asleep under the tree.
The rat-like thing looked at the Stone Cow and then jumped onto the tree. It disappeared into the tree hole.
"That's not bad. I don't know what kind of xenogeneic that rat-like thing is, but it looks very smart.
And what were the pebbles that the Stone Cow ate? Was it because of the pebbles that the Teeth power was removed? "Han Sen thought to himself.
After discovering that, Han Sen didn't want to give up. He wanted to find out more about the Stone Cow and the rat-like xenogeneic, so he hid in the shadows and observed them.
After the Stone Cow woke up, it looked much better. It went out and did a lot of work. The other Stone Cows caught a xenogeneic for it, and the Stone Cow ate it without hesitation.
After the Stone Cow ate, it went out of the valley for a walk. Because it was so close to the valley, Han Sen didn't do anything to it. He just continued to observe.
The Stone Cow waited under the tree every day. If the rat-like xenogeneic didn't come out of the tree hole to give it a stone, it would hit the tree with its head. The tree would shake, and bits of wood would fly everywhere. It wouldn't stop until the rat-like creature came out of the tree hole and gave it a stone.
The rat-like creature was afraid of the Stone Cow. It was angry, but it didn't dare say anything. It had to give the Stone Cow a stone every day.
"What exactly are those little stones?
Where did the rat-like creature come from? "
Han Sen wanted to go in and check it out, but there were many Stone Cows waiting outside. Han Sen couldn't get in.
After thinking for a long time, Han Sen came up with an idea.
When the Stone Cow wandered out of the valley again, Han Sen found a chance to shoot it when it wasn't paying attention.
The bullet hit the Stone Cow, and a turtle spell was imprinted on it. It slowed the creature down.
The Stone Cow was shocked and angry, but Han Sen didn't care. He kept shooting it, making it slower and slower.
Just like last time, the Stone Cow kept running back to the valley, and it kept making weird noises.
Not long after, a group of Stone Cows came running. Han Sen summoned the Red Reaper to draw the attention of the Stone Cows and lure them away.
Han Sen ran towards the valley. He wanted to see what was inside the tree hole, and he wanted to see what was going on.
When he reached the bigger valley, Han Sen used his scope to see the rat-like xenogeneic. It was looking down from the top of the tree.
Han Sen raised his sniper rifle and fired at it.
Han Sen had only wanted to test the creature's strength, but when he fired the shot, the creature's head was blown off.
"Xenogeneic Earl hunted: Living Rat. Xenogeneic gene found."
"Huh? Just an Earl xenogeneic?"
Han Sen was surprised. He had thought the rat was as smart as the Stone Cow, but he hadn't expected it to be an Earl.
